When you use our service, you may provide the following information: your name, phone number, email address, property address or zip code, photos or videos of your plumbing issue, a written description of your plumbing problem, your preferred contact time, and your property type.

Information Generated by Our AI System

When you upload a photo or video or describe your plumbing issue, our AI diagnostic system processes that information to generate a diagnosis, urgency assessment, recommended service type, and estimated cost range. This AI-generated diagnostic data is stored separately from your personal information and is anonymized (all personally identifiable information is removed) before being used to improve our system.

Information Collected Automatically

We use Vercel Analytics and Ahrefs Analytics to collect standard usage data such as pages visited, time on site, referring URLs, and device type. We do not use this data to identify individual users.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information you provide to diagnose your plumbing issue using AI, match you with a licensed local plumber who specializes in your type of problem, share your contact information and issue details with the matched plumber so they can follow up with you, send you notifications about your service request, and improve the accuracy of our AI diagnostic system over time using anonymized data.

3. How We Store Your Information

Your personal information (name, phone, email, address) is stored securely in our Supabase (PostgreSQL) database. This data is retained only as long as needed to complete the plumber matching process and for reasonable business record keeping.

Anonymized diagnostic data (issue descriptions, AI diagnoses, service categories, city-level location) is stored as vector embeddings in our database. This data contains no personally identifiable information and is used to improve the accuracy of our AI system. Because it cannot be traced back to any individual, this anonymized data may be stored indefinitely.

4. Who We Share Your Data With

Matched plumbers: When we connect you with a plumber, we share your name, phone number, issue description, and location so the plumber can contact you and prepare for the job.

AI processing providers: Your uploaded photos, videos, and issue descriptions are sent to OpenAI for AI analysis. OpenAI processes this data according to their own privacy policy.

We do not sell your personal data. We do not share your information with advertisers, data brokers, or any third parties beyond what is described above.

5. AI Processing Disclosure

Our service uses artificial intelligence to analyze photos, videos, and text descriptions of plumbing issues. The AI generates a diagnostic assessment, urgency rating, and service recommendation. These AI-generated assessments are informational and are not a substitute for a professional, in-person evaluation by a licensed plumber. By using our service, you consent to this AI processing after checking the consent checkbox before submitting your request.

6. Your California Privacy Rights (CCPA/CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you have the following rights:

Right to know: You can request a copy of the personal information we have collected about you.

Right to delete: You can request that we delete your personal information. We will delete your contact details, uploaded media, and interaction records. Anonymized diagnostic data that cannot be traced back to you will not be deleted, as it does not constitute personal information.

Right to opt out of sale: We do not sell your personal information.

Right to non-discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.
